Small town roots. Big city soul.

Hi there! My name is David Boleslav, but you may know me by my artistic pseudonym Dejvid Jones.

I was born in Moravská Třebová, small in Czech republic. I began my artistic career with music, composing rap/hip hop beats in 2007 thanks to hometown local beat competition ‘MyBattle Contest'. Followed by ‘Allelements Remix contest’ (1. Place) and many other competetions. Later, I slowly started working with rap artists from Czechia and Slovakia, trying to make career in music production industry. I managed to get in touch and work with successful and very talented artists and I am very grateful for this era in my life, cause I made long lasting friendships & it helped me later when I switched to art.

- 2014 - VAMPIRE CLOTHING era
I created my own clothing line named VAMPIRE CLOTHING. Didn’t do anything new for few years but constantly thinking about get back to it. Someday. You know.

It was inspired by my lifestyle and favourite music artists, movies and coulture.

-  2016 - PICKIN' UP THE BRUSH
I returned to my hobby from childhood, painting & drawing, & started doing canvas paintings. Check my PAINTINGS here.

In this year I also started learning and doing graphic design in a bigger scale. Mainly for my personal needs around website, social profiles and music promotion. Such as artworks & visualizers for YouTube music visuals and Instagram, logos (mine & custom ones), or illustrations etc. You can check it in MY WORK section. After some time I slowly decided to stop making music for a while and keep working as a painter and designer.

- 2018 - WELCOME TO THE INDUSTRY BOY
From beggining of 2018. I started working as a freelance Visual Designer, Painter and Illustrator. And got my first design job at DDB Prague as Junior Graphic Designer.

- 2020 - KEEP ON ROLLING
Still working as an Art Director/Designer for DDB Prague. Besides that, doing my own projects and focusing on contemporary art. Mostly on acrylic paintings, calligraphy and lettering. Adding merchandise designs for music artists, illustrations or digital prints to my portfolio, along with logos, brand identities or rebrandings, digital designs (websites, landing pages, etc ), some projects as UX/UI designer.
